Linux: ET Problem

Hello y'all,
i has a problem:

I'm running Linux (Sidux), when i play ET I cannot open the chat window (messagemode/2/3).
Anybody knows this problem? :(

Anyone flaming admits beeing homosexual.

i haz no sound. ubuntu fucking sucks. first it took me a month to get it working on my usb headset and now it wont work on my soundcard

dno i just did a format, i will check tomorrow. i tried 100000 solutions and all failed (linux noob) . in everything else i get sound (q3/openarena)

minimize et, go to your config, bind x "text", save, go ingame again, load your config, press x
