mouse neg accel

Ok i cleared my hardisk. Got an mx518 with a razer mantis speed pad.
What are you installing for your mouse ?

drivers, mouseaccel ....

tried 850 dpi, 250 hz ( cause unstable @ 500 hz ) , disable accelfix ( accelfix.exe ) then disable the mouse precision in windows.

6 notch @ windows sens

mousesensitivity : 10
mousespeed : 0
mousethreshold1 : 0
mousethreshold2 : 0

and i'm still getting negative accel.

So now could you tell me what your guys are installing, changing when you have an new hardisk.

The glides with the mx518 are enough good or should I put another ones ?

i'm changing it with the controle pannel,

mousesensitivity : 10 = 6/11
mousesensitivity : 20 = max windows sens tough

400 dpi is worse for me so weird :(
so go for 1600 and lower the ingame sens or winsens :p i never had any problems with the mx518 nor any other mouse regarding negative accel ... only the razer copperhead was awkward

thanks but I don't want to install the driver, and the new one is 1800 dpi and this it too much .

else try direct input ? heard it was a solution for some ppl
Parent

the glides are ok i wouldnt change them until the plastic is scratching on your pad.

stfu retard I installed accelfix.exe and can't get stable 500 hz as i can force it , take the time to read what i wrote or gtfo.
are there tools to find out if my system is having negative / positive acceleration??
do it manually!
Position your mouse on the left edge of your mousepad and aim at something. Then put one hand on the right edge of the pad and use your other hand to move the mouse very fast to the right. Now slowly move the mouse back towards the left edge. If you hit the edge of the pad before you've reached the initial position you've got positive acceleration. If you could move the mouse even farther after you reached the object you previously aimed at, you've got neg accel.

so that means i have to use a very low sens to control all that onscreen, yes?
