Bestest Gaming 22" LCD?

As the title says. The only two choices I've been given by h8m3 are the LG L227WT and Asus VW222U

Obviously, it'd be good to know if there are some better monitors which offer lowest input lag + response time for FPS games!

What would you recommend?

l227wt
Any experience?

some mate owns it and he's quite convinced that it's one of the finest lcds.

good review with some images but in german: http://prad.de/new/monitore/test/2008/test-lg-l227wt.html#Einleitung

basically they say great entertainment display, zero input lag, very good interpolation, so especially a good pick for hardcore gamer.

I'll check it out tomorrow, thanks anyway I'm off to bed .

I have the Samsung Syncmaster 226BW.

Maybe one off those, or the Samsung newer series?

2MS and good quality screen.
I had the l226wtq which was pretty decent, but had quite a few artifacts. I had old firmware like h8m3 mentioned earlier and noticed some ghosting on dragging windows etc. I believe that’s fixed in the new firmware.

Recently I got the Asus vw222u, I have to say I am very impressed. The presets on the monitor aren't that great especially for colour reproduction but changing it to standard and reducing the contrast from 80 to 75 fixed it for me. Both darks and lights are reproduced correctly through a contrast range of 0 to 75% with blue perhaps having slightly lower luminance, but not enough to be noticed really. Input lag isn’t bad ~4ms average with ~11ms maximum.

Overall I would say the Asus vw222u is the best Tft I have used but if you can buy one with a dead pixel check.
i have a 18inc LCD screen "unkown"

:D
got an asus 22" and don't have any problems with it.
Im going to buy this one soon: http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=10&l2=89&l3=830&l4=0&model=2641&modelmenu=1

TFT 22" Wide, 1920x1080, 2ms, 1000:1 (ASCR 12000:1), Interface: HDMI/DVI/Dsub, MultiMedia, HDCP, HDMI

179€ at Portugal
Dynamic contrast means nothing. If the performance of the monitor is anything like the vw222u should be decent though. Hopefully they may have made some decent presets on the newer models.

(: Heard some good stuff about this one, specially because its cheap and supports everything i want (2ms + high res)

Presets on the vw222u are shite, I run it on standard (doesn't allow some options like ASCR) with 75% contrast as with the preset 80% colour reproduction isn't great.
