We have heavy snow in here! 4cm of snow laying on the ground!=o

I was going to college this morning, but I couldn't! what a pity! the north-east highway to madrid is closed, everyone stuck in epic traffic jam that advanced 1 meter in 40 minutes!=o bus driver told us to get out of the bus and go walking home LOL! I haven't seen snow in this area for years ;D -5ºC

it's not that unusual that there is snow in spain actually, maybe in the south of spain but not in the north, last year i was in istanbul and there was snow too, and snow is normal too in italy for at least the middle & northern part ;)

Yeah, but no reason to overreact to so little snow, doesn't really affect traffic more than rain would. Just look at the roads on the pictures, there's not even enough snow to make it slippery. :/

it was snowing hard by that time (7.50am), didn't have time to fall enough yet since it wasn't snowing during night! 20cm and still falling :)

my father is stuck in traffic jam for 3 hours alrdy and could advance only 200 meters, apparently everyone waits for a miracle x) madrid is completely stuck.

im pretty sure madrid is not used to snow, i can see how as little as 4cm can cause problems... those who laugh are idiots jsut beacuse you live in a colder climate thats used to snow etc does nott make you the bigger man. I'm sure siberians would laugh at what most continental europeans consider 'winter'
