eh, what?
"estimates the carbon emissions of a Google search at 7g to 10g (assuming 15 minutes’ computer use)."
most of that power will be used by your own pc, not by the google search
besides, playing et causes why more co2 because the server requires more power than for a simple search =)
No, actually not. I think a search uses more power in the moment than an etserver. You have to play for more than the length of two google searches to get that much carbon emission.
when the dinosaurs exist, there was a climatic change, too. And i wont believe that they had cars or electricity.^^
The CO² Campaign = a big money-machine...
yes, there was a climatic change when dinosaurs existed.
yes, there could be multiple reasons for one event to happen.
yes, the co2 campaign is also a big money machine.
Of course, I know what you mean. It happened after a much longer time period of existence and the current problem is based on OUR ACTIONS, not on any meteroit.
lol, think about it. Every automaker, catalyst builder, all energie suppliers...
And mostly the states theirself by their eco taxes and general taxes...
Energy suppliers? They earn money when people use less energy? No.
Automakers? Their production cost increases dramatically when the energy prices increase. No.
Catalyst makers? Yes maybe.
State: Well, do you think it's a popular desicion to increase gas/energy prices? No.
ok, maybe your right at the energy suppliers, but automakers by selling new cars through the support of the states ( high taxes for old cars etc.)
@ the state: pls have a look @ all the taxes. Here at germany we have to pay eco taxes and high taxes@ old cars
Then the state earns money by every new sold car, catalytic ,twintec and so on.
Well, anyways if I were you I'd turn around and check what reasons your "most scientists" has.
Quite a lot of them are in the oil industry you see... ;)
maybe, but their statement won´t change the need of oil/gas...
Ppl don´t buy oil/gas cause they want to. They buy cause they are in need of it. As long as there are no real alternatives, the gas/oil suppliers dont need to be scared...
Yes, people need gas. But they also need a decent planet to live on.
It's not all black and white. I'm not saying that there are noone on this planet who makes good money on this, but that doesn't make the crisis less real.

Source: nowhere, could be wrong.

It happened also without all these human influences
