not realy, since by "is getting" you mean that it's happening right now, and by "gets lower" you think overall, not only in this moment
Unless the action is not regular, you don't need to use present simple.
sorry. <3
the point is, everybody got his own level of mistakes he could accept, you don't care whether you write I with the capital or not, he don't care about more things. You've got to bear with that.
As a sidenote, it's not about not knowing the language, you could meet a lof of english ppls using some funny acronymes and making mistakes in written english @ internetz. That's just the way it is.
As long as it's understandable, it's perfectly OK :D
I mean, he don't care about the way the ' I ' is being written, the other one can ignore much more: D
i wouldn't agree about one thing, though. even if it's understandable what someone says - its still not ok if its with mistakes (and i mean mistakes here, not typos :P). we should always try to get better and stuff. nobody punishes you with a death sentence, but still that doesn't mean its ok if you write 'then' instead of 'than'.
now lets define mistake and typo. imo, typo is when you write something not the way it should be due to technical obstacles, like: hoing (clearly, finger slipped to 'h' instead of 'g'). i wouldnt also mind leaving all apostrophes, even writing "it's" as "its" as long as it is intended to shorten the time of writing. same goes for lack of capital letters (as you see in this post :P). and same goes for shortcuts. but mistakes, such as writing 'then' when you clearly wanted the meaning of 'than' shouldnt be something to chill about.
However, I do understand if somebody don't care and accept that. And I think that if you want to be a nazi-grammar, you really should write the capital "I" and stuff like that :D
Of course it would be nicer to read a properly written journals all the time, but it is not possible because most of the people here don't know english that well ( like me for example :) ) and the other part is just too lazy for that, which I somehow understand and treat as something that is their decision only and read like everything else :>
so, lets conclude it - we, on our own, should try to get better, but shouldnt care if someone else doesnt go with such policy.
And my point was, if we want to demand proper grammar from the rest, we've got to give a crystal-clear example first. The journal we're commenting in is written in better english than the one linked in it, but it still could be considered as written in an unpropen grammar for some of the readers here. So, if we want to correct others, we can't do that in a "im teh smartest" way :)

Did you mean understandable?
i see your point :)
ok, edited ^^
But I'm trying to get rid of that habit as people most usually don't get it or point out as a mistake :D
at least that was creative :D
-sexy :DDDDDD
-random comments, how expected :XDDDDDD
learn scottish instead. just say everything you would have said, but in an angry manner.
example :
english version ; "hi there, may i borrow that paper you're reading?"
scottish version ; "ho, bawbag, geez at rag or ill knock ye oot ya pie ye"
lesson 1 is free. if further lessons are required, well, get your chequebook out...
