Mirrors Edge HALP

Ok, I've tried this on two different Operating Systems now (I formatted my W7 partition to go back to XP to see if it made any difference) and I'm beginning to get slightly irritated by this piece of shit.

Basically I run the game, the startup movie plays, and then I'm on my desktop again.

Any ideas?

I'll keep googling around this and the U3 engine but it's looking bleak.

oh please. he's obviously some guy that sits there and slates every game that comes out, in that annoying fucking voice, trying to be clever and funny, while just being annoying and tedious. he speaks too fast due to bad editing and well, i may be slightly unhinged, but id still love to remove some of his teeth, and do a review of that.

I'm actually perplexed that some simple satire gets you so raged.

He purposefully picks flawed games to review, like GTA4, Bioshock, Assassins Creed and whatnot. It's just honesty more than anything, with inserts of humour.

His review of Portal for example... you'd hear similar things if it was a review of Deus Ex or Monkey Island... but he doesn't review those because as he admits himself, nobody would watch it.

It's not hard.. he isn't very bright, however I do think you are wrong about the Zero Punctuation series its pretty dry humour but he sums up the games flaws quite well, but still mentions good points too. Don't tell me you liked Mirror's Edge as well…

it's almost like supreme idiocy disappears from the scale and appears at the other end in an incomprehensible state

and about your comment on Mirror's Edge... I'm not a casual, I don't intend to buy this game, I don't care if it's only a few hours long. I'm only playing it for the competition.

i have the same problem updated nvidia drivers and tried applying the patch but not really working out. I tried running it on vista as well as xp
