Do you guys still use et-sdl-sound hack or the echo "et.x86 0 0 direct" >/proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss


And how does the X-Fi series perform @ linux

there were some beta drivers for linux on their website, dunno how they work though

I'm using oss4, and I have sound in ET and vent =)
Don't know about the X-Fi, but my Audigy se is working great.

Using ubuntu 8.10

Creative started developping some drivers but those were b0rked. Now alsa is doing the job.
