formatting my pc #2

NO MORE VISTA, HERE COMES XP NOT LINUX!



Ok i made this journal the other day/week:

And since United Kingdom Starzi the great guy gave me windows XP and a CD key i am not going to save all my pictures, music, ET folder etc...

But i have got games on steam etc, will i need to save these games or just know my steam profile?

Also are there any particular drivers i will need to save, or can i just download them again when i have the internet backup?

And is there any thing else i need to save?

most important = network drivers or you aint downloading shit when you reformat since you wont be able to get online :P

You mean your saved games, or do you mean the games you have bought? You will be able to download all your steam games very quickly from steam as they do have fast FTP

Pretty much just need your sound drivers if they are onboard, if you have discs for important stuff like mobo.. just make sure you have your Ethernet drivers etc..

In steam there is the option "backup the game" so he could save it to tha disk, and then install normally. Useful, fast FTP means nothing when you are about to download like ten GB :D
