design contract!

hey m8s,

we arranged a designer to create a website for our clan. now his work is nearly finished and he said we should transfer our money to his bankaccount.

i said i want something written down so he can`t disappear without handing the designfile to us.

he said he dont have a fax and proposed me to sign a .pdf file.

now my question is would this pdf file with his signature legal as an official written contract on paper?

it is not that we dont want to transfer the money..we just want to ensure that we get the website afterwards for sure!

maybe he tries to trick us therfore his excuse: no i cant do print it and send it via post...

we will tell him to do so - better than having apdf contract which is maybe not proof enough...

best option , he signs the contract sends it to u via post, u sign it then its binding. btw almost anything that you sign is binding to u so read the contract in full before you sign it unless ofc u wrote it :)
