actually phobos is greek and means indeed fear, but some words have various meanings
e.g. anti-semitic means that someone is racistic against jews, tho not only jews are semites but other people as well, like arabs

semite has a definition, if somebody is antisemitic he is against semites. thats it there is no other proper meaning,. someone can use it inaccurately and mean something else with it, thats it,
