New PC and FPS drops

Hi guys i got a new pc and the first 3 days i got 125 fps np4me on every map!
And now after 4 days i got FPS drops so no stable FPS on radar or goldrush whats the reason ?

Punkbuster!

My PC:
CPU: Intel CORE 2 DUO E8500 2x 3.16GHZ
MotherBoard: ASUS P5Q INTEL P43
HD: S-ATA II 500 GB 7200 U/Min Samsung
Sound: Onboard
Graphics: 1024 MB ATI RADEON 4870HD (PCI-EX ULTIMATIV POWER)
Memory: 4096MB DDR 2 PC800 Kingston
O/S: Windows XP 32BIT
Connection: T-Online DSL 3000

so i got no idea why i got FPS drops :(

make sure you dont have any virus/trojans

check if you have many running processes that might slow your pc down

but most likley its just punkbuster like for the rest of us

Nice specs, pretty pointless having 4096MB of ram on a 32bit os though.

ya, but dont forget the graphix ram... so if u have 1024mb of ram on ur graphix, 32 bit systems can only use 2,5 of 4 gig ram..
That´s why i use xp64, works great...

same here on 32bit XP, 125 stable with drops from 80-125 every few seconds

windows xp professional 32bits fps very stable with /pb_sleep 500, pb_security 0, pb_system 0 :D
