Removing an icon

Hello Crossfire,

Currently i've installed a (internet security) program called G DATA. There's nothing wrong with the program itself (in fact it's recommendable) but, it automatically installes a Shredder icon on my desktop which i can not delete:

Does anyone here know a way to get rid of it?

Serious comments please.

the customize desktop menu that allows you to hide/show My Computer/Recycle Bin/etc?

Can't remember exactly where it is since I am not on Windows.

Reinstall it and uncheck the icon from being shown on the desktop, it should be there but since I don't use it I'm just guessing. Also might wanna check the settings tab and see if you disable can it there.

Move it to an other folder. Drag to my documents or something.
if i do that, i can delete the icon, but only in the folder i dragged it to :P the icon will still appear on my desktop

You mean you need to remove the whole map or what?
Parent
nee kijk, als ik hem naar een andere map verplaats, kopieert hij alleen het icoontje maar de originele blijft nog op het bureablad staan snap je
Parent

Even using option: delete after pc reboot?
Parent
do eigenschappen -> aanpassen -> ander icoon -> helemaal niks!
use cmd and deactivate the securities that way
best thing to do is:

search for : "cannot delete folder" and then follow the instruction basically what you do is set the status of the file new which has to be done by execute/cmd and in the console you can set the attributes of the file

if I'm not mistaken
