Random freezes²

well i got this problem for a while now and its getting quite frustrating.

i have these random freezes, then im just doing stuff like browsing inet or w/e. and then just suddenly my screen is frozen, pc is doing nothing anymore and i have to press reset.

i have no idea how why this happens. i formatted 3 times already, updated gfx drivers, stuff like that, but it doesnt seem to help

so i hope anyone of you know what this causes and how i can fix it

p.s. specs in profile tho my screen is now some LG 22"

yes i posted this before but its now freezing ~8times a day :C

with mem problems the pc would reboot or doing weird things, it usually doesn´t cause freezes

[ger]wie ich das schon hatte un er ist doch eingefroren!..sach doch nicht das das nicht so wäre :O - me iz nich blind! >.> ..kann aber auch noch sein das er 2 RAM steine hat die sich nicht vertragen, heisst er sollte mal einen rausholen(falls er 2 hat) un mal so gucken obs noch kommt..[/ger]

freezes are generally a sign of cpu problems, maybe overheating

e: check with programs mentioned above and to be sure open the case and look if the coolers are running and that there´s not too much dust into them.

RAM or CPU.

Run MemTest to check if its the RAM.
Then use something like CPU-Z to monitor your CPU functions.
