yo guys, if you like hip hop, techno or break beat (or just dance music in general). U really should go see apparat if he plays near u. Ull be blown away! its just like a wall of beautifull melodics sounds destroying you. a friend of mine also came who doenst like techno at all, he also loved it.

Sounds very tempting, but train costs me 18 euro as well + the drinks.

you can't say that because a single sound sample can be used in like 328947852389567 genres, 1 element from hip hop will make nothing hip hop. Hip hop is a complete thing.

I can hear sound samples used in hip hop songs in almost every trance/techno/dance/electro track, and they all aint anything like hip hop because of those used sounds.

well but he uses hip hop like beats in almost every song so that makes it hip hop like... if u say that song has nothing to do with hip hop your just pretty stupid. and just effect is sumthing different then the main beat.

he doesn't use hip hop beats, he uses the same sound in his beat but his beat is not like hip hop at all.
there is a difference between a beat and the sound effects he uses.

most people writing such reports don't know anything about hip hop, ask a real hip hop fan and he will also tell u that Modeselektor has nothing to do with hip hop.

but whatever you want, from now on every music is called hip hop because it uses bass and some random beats. (you can also say alot of pop, rock and punk songs got some hip hop atributes, but we don't say those songs sound like hip hop do we?)

everybody is stealing from hip hop, but stealing one part doesn't make it hip hop!!!!! hip hop is something complete, don't think many hip hop listeners would go to Modeslektor for the random hip hop like beats he uses in his ELEKTRO music.

its not your just a moron, friend of mine always loved hip hop listening to hip hop like mf doom dangermouse madvillan and know probably all hip hop styles, he also compares it to hip hop. just like everyone i spoke and everyone who writes review and sorts of things, your just beeing ignorant.
