hey crossfire,

i have 3 more weeks time to write my "Facharbeit" ..dont know what it means in english, but i have to write at least 12-15 pages about a topic. My topic is:
The developement of the Hurrikane Katrina and the consequences
I have a problem with the classification because i dont know more subitems :(


for now i have :

the developement of a Hurrikan
early warning system
stats @ katrina
maybe an interview with someone who lives in new orleans



this would take max i would say 5-6 pages....but i need 6 more


i made this journal because i need some ideas so...
pls gimme some ideas and dont flame this time :x

You haven't investigated in the subject, have you? Do so and you'll see that there was much criticism about the failing of the government - Bush even admitted it a while ago.

Another point could be the international reaction - even with goods or rescue teams for the "leader of the world". How it was presented, how it was seen by the population in Germany/europe...

Shouldnt be too difficult since it was pretty highly discussed as I remember.. Take Kanye West's "George Bush doesnt care about black ppl!" - pretty much discussion about that - should give you some sheets. :)

I mean not hurricanes in general, but the specific effects of Katrina since it was handled quite badly.

after the hurricane they got some new protection-technoligies afaik...
and its always usefull to fill it up with pictures to the max :>
