Average Hz

Hey,

So couple of weeks back i was bored so i "overclocked" my mouse to 500Hz.
Anyway all went fine and now it stands on 514Hz with no problem :>

but when i put it on 1000Hz it goes to an average of 630Hz max..
do any of you guys know why exactly?

Thanks :v)

what the fuck you are doing
dont fucking use 1000hz u retard it sucks 500hz is just fine and better
some mice can't reach 1000hz but 500 is more than enough
oh ok.
btw you happen to know if mx518 is one of them?
Parent
fucking 500hz and 1000hz theres no big difference, 500 is fine
Parent
im not asking if its fine or not.
im asking if the mice is the problem...?!

SEEMS LIKE UR MOUSE CANT TAKE MORE THAN 600HZ.

I'd check mine for you if i knew where it was. Even if it did manage a constant 1000hz your aiming wouldn't get any better. I also think 1000hz damages the usb ports sometimes but don't hold me to that ^^
Parent
I didnt say it would improve my aim ;)
was just asking..
thanks anyway

GO AWAY FAKER.
you really got me there huh
Parent
its normal
mouserate.exe is too old and doesn't measure hz to 1000 accurately.
Use dx_mouse_timer_dialog.exe instead, check the average while you move your mouse fast.
i do use dx

Maybe it's the limit of the mouse then. 500hz is good enough anyway.
Parent
dont use 1000, it can damage some parts
1337 np :)
Need Slarto's hz overclocking tutorial and advice.
Originally made only for overclocking your CRT-SCREEN, but when it comes to overclocking he is the right man to turn in the times of need.
your mouse can't handle 1000hz on a constant ratio (or PC isn't good enough) so better keep it at 500
OVER 9000 is best
me iz have 250 - is that bad?
