headsets or headphones?

dear crossfire,

id like to ask you some questions, what are advantages and disadvantages of headsets and headphones?

which one do you prefer?

i thought about buying some Sennheiser but i was closer to one without microphone, couldnt decide about model so which one?

edit: till now, i was using for over 3 years Icemat Siberia but its making weird sounds sometimes

good decision, the only bad thing I can say about them is, that they are open, which could also be a good thing because of the better air circulation.. aaah I dunno :P

headphones are usually better quality,

headsets are more practical

sennheiser are good for both

gaming headsets are terrible by comparison to most dedicated cans

two very good pairs of entry level cans are the HD555s or Grado SR60s

Earphones for music
Headphones for gaming (if it's an expensive Sennheiser it will be better than earphones for music)

I think that headphones + mic is good choice:

sennheiser hd 25 C II 170 € + some 8€ trust mic (got perfect sound quality)

toi hiirimaton matto on sen takia kun tossa pöydässä on toi epätasasuus kohta tossa raon kohalla. Ja johto on hyvä, ei takerru mihkää, ottasit itekki kierre johon jos saisit ;D
