Windows firewall?

Any experts out there?

For the past, I can't remember how may years, I have been using ZoneAlarm as firewall. About 30 minutes ago I tried to update it, since it has been wanting to do that for the past half a year. After the restart my puter wouldn't start windows correctly and explorer.exe crashed.

So I am now back to ye olde windows firewall... is that fine?

I could try to do a fresh install of ZoneAlarm though.

i wouldnt trust to windows firewall, i tested zonealarm and it sucked.

Im using netlimiter2's firewall, it owns :P

i personally dont use any software firewall, only the windows fw

ZoneAlarm PRO Firewall 2009, that's if you fix the issue and can offered it. I would suggest you look into why your system started crashing. Run a few checks! gl

that's one of the best out there, eventhough it's free it competes very well with many commercial ones, I have it and it's very good

i prefer using no firewall over using windows firewall, it blocks most programs by default which really gets on my nerves :-/
