I am in the army atm and laptop would be cool so could get in net at free time. So I have been thinking about buying some small/mini laptop like ASUS Eee PC or some other. The cheaper the better, maybe about 250-300e.
So do you guys have your own and have you found it good/useable and its working? And do you have any certain model in your mind which is good and cheap? And ASUS' ones are the best ones? And Linux is easy to learn?
Tell me :>

You can't really do much more with it though :)

Cloudbooks are nice
Your main options are Eee PC or MSI Wind (U110, U120,) although the majority of netbooks have near identical specs. There are plenty of comparisons on the net, the biggest differences are screen size, keyboard/touchpad "feel," hard drive type and size and an integrated broadband adaptors (which is important if you don't want to be lugging around a USB dongle.)
and it does exactly what urtier said...
It's thanks to the integrated gfx "card" that it doesn't do well with games, afaik. :p
It can do just about everything except from gaming, and I think it's the cheapest Eee PC around at the moment (wish I waited a bit longer before I bought mine :P). I use it for university and it has all I need for my studies.
Always good with a good battery ;)
just make sure to get a big enough flashdrive, look for some older games (2d) games and hf!
and take the winXP version :)
