Yea it might be. Maybe you have a weak/unbranded powersupply and it cant meet the demand of the graphics card. What resolution you using?
Parent
atm i use 1360 by 768 pixels
Parent
Hmm...Have you tried what Richeh said below? Tell me what RAM you got first (link)

From these two it sounds like a driver problem. Have you updated anything recently?
And try updating all drivers (graphic card/network card/tv card/etc)

Btw can you post your specs?
ive updated all my drivers etc,

here are my specs:

The best idea:

- open your pc and clean everything as much as you can (specially psu, gpu and cpu coolers)
- format (download a new cd)
- install everything (sp3 n stuff)
- download new drivers (nvidia/ati, sound drivers, mouse drivers, chipset drivers)
- Run some pc stress tester

If it doesnt work:

- update bios
- try older drivers
- try switching some stuff off (ex: dvd driver, some random pci/ide stuff u dont use)

Hint:

- Download some linux live cd and test it your pc still crashs

Gl mYr/tekn0 !!!!!!!
vista is your problem
vista is perfect
