im pretty sure that the school got version 2009 and 2009 cant open docs made in the older versions of it i got told

imho u can still open old versions (.doc) but u cant open word 2007 and higher documents (caused by great new .docx) in older word versions

srsly, get an older version, new .docx instead of old .doc sucks hard (cause u cant use them with older word versions)

n1 tactic from microsoft, now evrybody needs to update his office version. MOAR money for mr gates ~~

yeah it is, but try to send an email right away from word and u will notice that its only possible as .docx for example

ok, u can save it before as .doc and send it, but srsly, what a workflow :D

Just google a Docx converter to convert them to .doc which you can open with every version of word

Microsoft 2003 is the best, Go download Limewire, Search Microsoft Word, a zipped folder should be there with product key etc.
