Or in other words "the fear of Friday the 13th".
There is no written folklores about it until late 19th century, but in oral tradition it has been around since 14-15th centuries.
Some claim that it´s origins are from numerology
Others are taking it back to the Templar Knights (you know, Da Vinci Code-stuff)
Both are straight from wikipedia.
By statistics, there isn´t anything that supports bad-luck-theories, actually people are more careful since they expect something bad to happen.
I personally don´t think there is anything special, you just automatically say that bad things happening today are because of the Friday the 13th and blame it for everything.
Any opinions or experiences about this issue?
And a great song, though it has Finnish lyrics, hard to enjoy since it is mostly about them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REBIFVQ-0zQ
