formatting c drive

I was thinking about reformatting soon. I am already starting to backup somethings. I think I am going to use TinyXP, but some friends recommend I just use normal XP. What are your recommendations?

I use tinyxp on one of my HDD. Comparing that with a normal xp setup I have on my laptop, I find there are a issues with installing some software (my Canon software being one of them) and it doesn't want to detect various printers, storage devices and what not.
I'd say to stick with your normal xp and disable all the unnecessary services and programs through 3rd party software.
There's a gamers edition of xp out too but I've not tried that.

I tried TinyXP, although it is tiny its not stripped to the bases. I recommend you using Windows XP Perfomance Edition hopefully it's still up on thepiratebay.org or some other website.
