so im thinking of maybe getting a new headset in the upcoming week, never really looked around at headsets so no idea whats good/shit, price isnt really a factor

Any from the Sennheiser PC series.

I wouldn't go for those overpriced SteelSeries headsets (5H or Siberia)-

You could also consider decent headphones (Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, some Sonys etc) and a desktop mic.

It isn't even that expensive if you consider that it's a Sennheiser headset and it's closed. Compared to those SteelSeries atleast :-P

i payed 100 euro for the pc350 :< it is quite much imo. but yeah considering the others arent much cheaper to begin with + you pay for the name as well. its quite ok :)

gggggget fatal1ty headset, you get 2 years waranty with that :P and it's not expensive at all, but it has a nice bass to it.

But if you have more money to spend, go for friggin sennheiser.
