mouse usb hole problem

seems my logitech mx518 won't work when plugged into the usb hole anymore, it used to work anyway, even without using drivers.
now it has stopped working so i have to use ps/2 for it to work
suggestions? yes, yes yesyesyyseyes?

Try to insert it into USB Port instead of a hole.

Regarding the prob.

I had same kind of prob with my keyboard. Go into Control Panel (whatever) and search out for device control (to control ur usb devicez). There open "Mouses" or "USB Devices". There should be your keyboard. If you see an error triangle on the logo and it says "USB Error" or something in the settings, then right click it and press "DELETE". Then reconnect your mouse. Worked with my keyboard.

Start Menu > Help & Support > Undo Changes to my computer with System Restore > Restore my computer to an earlier time > choose a date in bold closest to the time before your mouse last worked in that USB port > complete the wizzard > reboot > log in to your PC > start up your web browser > come back to this thread and say "thanks" to me.
