I recently got an album by Kashiwa Daisuke.

you did say that genre doesn't matter!
well, its not that bad, but sounds sad. what is it soundtrack from?
Parent
experimental, post-rock, ambient, electronic, idm, using instruments of classical music to create soundscapes

not for everyone but fans of post-rock and classical should love it
Parent
does it have any vocals?
Parent
yes... mainly snippets of spoken word... and nothing really coherent
Parent
might check it out, i like my post-rock to be vocal-less!
Parent
way less vocals than Sigur Ros and company!
Parent
Godspeed You! Black Emperor? If so then yes, quite a lot like this. The focus is much more on classical instruments than your typical post-rock artist. Very refreshing. Check out the final part of Stella which I linked also below, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyjaeiWlS6Y&fmt=18

that's quite nice actually :p

edited my post :>

huh, soundtracks? what do you mean :\

I wouldn't say his songs sound sad in general, if you listen to them as a whole and not a sample.

The two tracks on Program Music start slow, but both have very explosive patches in the end, eg, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyjaeiWlS6Y&feature=related

just played two of em from your link on and they sounded kinda ..... dunno.... not frustrating but sad. was comparing it to Yannn Tiersen maybe.. dunno. i didnt say it was bad, actually i liked it, but wasnt in the mood for something like that
Parent

Parent
didnt listen to every song. but it sounded nice. just nothing for me to listen atm. same like yann tiersen, wouldnt even try to listenh to it atm. just my state of my makes me do it atm.
