finally fast!

Okay so I am probably going to reformat sometime this week, but I need a way to store some of my files. What are some good ways to store data?

I tried FTP but I have no idea, so some recommendations would be nice for an easy upload.

you only have one hard drive?

i just formatted a few hours ago. now it seems that most of my applications that would work after a fresh os install need to go as well thanks to some virus.
