Et On Vista! HELP!!!

I have installed "Last XP 20" which should be an modified version of xp but actually it was vista. Now i tried to make et work on it. I followed all the 3 tutorials found on crossfire and now i have just sometimes fps drop but only when i open et through et.exe ... I always use The All Seeing Eye.. When i enter a server through it, i have fps drop.. What should i do?

Use prepatched version of et dl first of all, dont run in compatability mode, dont use UAC
