Ram settings in ET

Hi guys, I bought myself 2048MB Ram today! I remember seeing in here somewhere that there is a command, smth like com_hunkmegs or whatever?! What is it and what value should I use to have no lag :) ?

it means only how fast ET will load a map for example, nothing to do with the gameplay imo (?)
edit_ did u have 512mb before that? i know the feeling u have now, so much faster ^^

how did you calculate it or smth?

edit: lol it was 56 atm :/ I suppose that's the reason why I got a log of lag!

anyway gonna check it out now :)

higher than 196 ET doesn't count + its only for load so useless

doesnt this mean how much megas Et will use from ur ram memory? i guess i got this hunkmegs 256 but on taskmanager it shows that ETs runnin on 300-350? :D

how many et will use to load, and it will max use 196 for that

96 is usually enough, only relevant on loading larger maps.

zonemegs is cheatprotected, soundmegs you don't actually need more than 2mb :-p
