et for linux

hello,

i got problems with ET.

well, basicly the graphics just aint loading.
i enter the game and all i see is black.
i cant hear aswell but thats a known problem which ive found a solution to.

can some one help me fix this black screen thing?

If wouldn't support, the game won't run at all.

What graphics card is it and what version/build of linux is it?

Try disabling compiz (= all the desktop effects). If you're a bit unlucky and ET is redirected to an offscreen pixmap, i'm not too sure it would like that.
