Mousepad replacement

Well, I've had the Icemat for a little less than a year now and for the most part it's great. Lately though I've been playing Quake Live instagib and getting screwed over by erratic mouse movement when I make fast movements.(I have an MX518)
Before this I had an Everglide Titan for about 2 years, a Steelseries Qck before that for 2 years. They were good but I want a mousepad that will be consistent. I love the glide on my Icemat, but the noise is annoying when I'm browsing and so are the mouse errors.
I want a mousepad that will be durable like my Icemat and just as smooth, but without the mouse errors.(For the MX518 preferably, though I have looked at the Deathadder and both Steelseries Ikari mice - would the same mousepads work?) If not, oh well. What are some good mousepads?

edit: QPAD CT is decent...
but i have got both mx518 with titan everglide and razer deathadder with razer goliathus mat <3 brch
the deathadder mouse feels smoother than the 518 imo, i also think that the razer goliathus mat is more consistant but it does rub against your arm quite a bit which gets a tad uncomfortable !
ps. i dont think ive ever made a comment this long
it's soft pad and pretty smooth with mx518
Unless you are using an extremely low sens with the icemat it shouldn't make your mx518 skip though.
Atm I got the NOIDpad, in the 2 months I have it, it didn't wear out (so better than the Qpad already which becomes shit after a couple of weeks). The glide is almost the same, maybe even a bit faster. But something tells me that atleast in 6 months it will suffer from the same probs as all the other mousepads on the market.
If you have problems with scratching go and buy slicksurf mousefeet for the mx518. They don't wear out within a few days like all those other soft teflon feet. You still must be sure your pad is clean, so whip over it every few mins (at full spawn, or when you're done with your ql round) with a towel to clean it (doesn't need to be wet).
The DeathAdder shouldn't skip on any pad btw. Atleast I had no problems at all on the pads I have tested (icemat, qck, noid, sx). Pretty much the same with the mx518 though, so I don't really understand how you could have problems. Have you cleaned the sensor once in a while?
Works perfectly here, without any malfunction.
Also I can't find any USA sellers for the NOIDpad. Would the SS 5L be roughly the same? I'm just going by the product page's descriptions.
The 5L is way different. It's maybe even the same surface but it's a hard pad underneath.
