F1: new rules and KERS

Site is in slovenian language, but just click on the video. Is pretty nice animation, with all "new rules" in incoming championship. That "NOS" think will be pretty success imo.

KERS is a fail, they wanted to lower teams expense and they spent dollar millions to make this system :s
so it will help only big teams like ferrari, mclaren..

Yeah, awesome season this year. 4 factory cars, Loeb still beating everyone.

Besides, you can´t watch it live so where´s the excitement?

Loeb is just an exceptional talent and dominating everyone like Schumacher did in F1. Though it´s the more interesting sport for me since they don´t drive like on rails and can vary their styles. It´s better to have less manufactures since it brings more priority to the driver´s skills. That you can´t watch it live is a shame but that´s how it is :<

Well now there is only 4 cars whom have a change to compete for victory. So I don´t think less manufacturers is a good thing :( Though I agree with you on driver-skill thingie, it would be great if there was just one type of car, then it would be all about driving, but money makes the world go around :)

I love WRC but I agree that having such few manufacturers does kill it abit, even if they weren't winning it's still nice to see the different car types competing, Subaru was a big loss to WRC, yet they still race in the JWRC, same with Mitsubishi.

Welcome to 2008.

But anyway, I guess it hasn´t been talked around here. KERS comes in in a too fast phase, they should test it for more than few months. Well, I guess they want to make some lotto to the races, but that sucks imo. There is enough with new aerodynamics and slicks. Those changes I personally like, reducing air-flows and helping overtaking since it is easier to drive behind other car etc.

And that "NOS-effect", what do you think, if someone starts to overtake in a good place, won´t the other guy push the button too? Most of tracks have only 1-2 places to go, since it is pretty easy to know when it is going to happen anyway.

You will find that the cars have much better grip with slicks and will reach much fastser speeds! I can't wait!
