Wireless help

Hello,

I've got some wireless problems and I was hoping that someone could help me, here is the thing:

I have one Modem, one Router, one pc and a notebook.

When i connect to the internet through the pc I can't connect in the notebook, and when i connect in the notebook, I can't do it in the pc.

I have no idea what is causing this, already used 2 differente network managing programs and nothing happens.

One thing that I noted is that whenever I connect in one computer the Local Area Connection/Wireless Connection keeps saying "Acquiring Network Adress" and it keeps that way.

Thanks for your help!

you need to go to router settings and allow both mac adresses maybe

else, try buying wireless cables

Have u turned DHCP on??
Sounds like u only get 1 ip-adress.
Can u explain how to get to the DHCP in my computer?
Parent
U have to set it up in your router. Look in the router manual how to connect to it.
Usually its has an adress like 192.168.0.1 that u go to in your browser.
Login and pass is often admin admin if u havent changed it.
Ok, got that, i'm in here, what should i do now?
Parent
Turn on DHCP and see that u have Get IP Adress automaticly on your PC´s and it should work
Parent
Ok, did that, but where can i see if "Get IP Adress automaticly" is on?
Parent
In the network settings on your PC
Parent
It's already automatic!
Parent
Well try it now then. GL

start-run-cmd-ipconfig and your gateway should lead to your routers configuration!
I'm here at the router configurations, but I just don't know what should i do next :(
Parent
maybe use static ip?
