Mouse advices

Hi. My g5 is a bit crazy, so i decided to buy a new one.
I have been a logitech fanboy since longtime, so i was thinking about get another g5 (the blue version because i still have the 1st g5 version)

Its like g5 and has some really good specifications. Heard it is very good.

stick to the main question: g5 or this new one. I had a g5 and a mx518 and g5 is alot better.... imo

well.. sometimes it starts aiming to the floor or shooting like 1 bullet, stops for 1second then keeps shooting again LOl :X sometimes im pressing the mouse1 and it stops shooting... i prefer to get a new once.. i have this one since +- 3 years already :S

Heard from a couple of users now that the Roccat is overhyped.
They have both gone back to using their Logitech mice (G5 and MX518).

Peronally if you like Logitech then stick with what works ;)

Ikari Optical is really the only other mouse I can think of that may be worth a try.

I just changed from G5 to a Razer DeatAdder, and i really love it.. It takes some time to get use to but it's worth it ;)

Do you have one? does it works good? using 3200 dpi? because i have a g5 and i only use 1600 dpi

I've used it sometimes in a local shop and made some settings tests and it worked very well
But where is the point in using 3200 dpi? I thought lower dpi and a higher ingame sens is what you should use

made test with 400 and 800 dpi =/

Because it's made to last, and your tracking becomes optimal imho. I have had plenty of mouses, and it's by far the best one. You could of course go with a Razer mouse, but I can promise you it won't last for long :P

- does not work well (fast movements) on many mousemats
- even when it works optimally it cant handle as fast movements that almost all other optical mouses can
- shape is not that good
- surface doesnt feel nice to hold and really awful even with little bit of sweat
- too heavy even without the weights

g9, because its very comfortable, adjustable (weight + shape/size) and has far better sensor than g5

its my advice 4u!
