advise needed

hello,

since my granny died (R.I.P.) i get some money..

so i am looking for a comp where i can ET on with a stable 125 fps.. price doesnt really matter but not too expensive.

my PC (see profile) was about 450 euro 4 years ago (well with Radeon 9600 and 512 MB ram) and I was able to play with 125 fps stable! well 76 stable at radar and grush.

So don't spend too much money on it ;)

125 fps wont give you a skill boost. if you only want 125 fps in et amd 3800 + any nvidia card

i know, but it annoys me to play radar or grush with large fps lag and very unstable..

i see your cpu sucks, you wont get 125 fps with that. like i said buy a cheap old system if you only want to play ET, i have a amd 3800+ + nvidia 7600 gt and i get 125 stable on all maps even on 24+ pubs. you can get a system like that 4 100/150 $. btw vista is a known fps killer try linux.
http://wubi-installer.org/ easy as fuck no burning cd no repartition. check my old specs @ profile i got stable 71 fps with that pc only on radar and grush i had drops to 60

yeah but i play on laptop, and only on some parts o spply i can get 125 but just for 1 sec.. will try the ubuntu thing, thanks ;)
