Bootcamp (cc6)

Hi guys,

got some questions about a bootcamp on thursday...

1) What did you pay in the past and what will it be this time?
2) Pro's and con's ?
3) To do or not to do?
4) Any other teams considering of doing it? So we can prac a bit on LAN ;).

Preferably comments from ppl who already did one :P

1) I think it was 25€/person
2) Well was fun to get raped by re-play :( and getting used to play at LAN.

We got those blue things which you could use to buy drinks but didnt use them on that day and they said tomorrow it was only for yesterday :DD:D:DD so funny.

and re-play i guess half of them were on lan, half online so those guys who were playing online were raping us (hi kitty!) :D

i can't recall the DJ to be playing music at cc5, only the diner place up the stairs played music? dont think that bothered anyone playing, even the ones who played next to it.

wasn't there at cdc4 but yea i heard about it. actually, the last day(?) during the knockout games, i think the fragmovie songs that were played on stream, had loud music going on - and some of the songs actually were awful :DD

got scammed @ cdc4 they gave our places away to some cod team , we had to wait untill the night to get those pc for some hours
after that gtfo with that shit

pro: wzzrd get more money so the next lan will be there aswell ( could be a contra aswell )

contra: u get used to play on a place with all settings as u wish and then the day after u get another sit in some shitty corner where everything is not working cause some fag played before you and installed some weird razer driver shit and after u remove that bullshit and u install the setpoint its not working right and the admin have no clue why but they force u to start the match


I wouldnt do it :)

just plug'n'play. trying to "get used to it" is quite pointless in my point of view, i mean..as mama said, one day you can play on a great pc and the next day the pc you got aint working right. those pc's that cod4 was played on at cc5 were quite awesome tbh :D

I can't even play at my brothers pc cause I need ages to get used to shit... so boot camp doesnt sound like a bad idea imo...

cod4 bootcamp was probably useful, they had quite awesome pc's(i think they were all the same). but for ET, some had CRT's some had TFT's. most tables were ok, but there were few "corner" pcs, so you didn't really have much space for your mousepad/mouse. quite alot of PC problems. it's good to get prepared - but i think if i'd play - i'd just chill around till my game and get my pc sorted before the game and play. bootcamping wouldn't mean much if i get a shit pc the next day :/

i myself, played twice even. before ruoska had a game, he allowed me to play on pub with his settings n shit :D and on the last day, tekno gave me his keyboard,mousepad,mouse - i didnt change a thing - i think i even played with Eagle's config :DDDDD still raged on cybergames
