um ive got some random linux installed on my asus eepc

it has a messenger which has msn, irc etc etc on it

i was wondering how to set up irc using that messenger program cuz i am NOOB

help plz thx

linux with a netbook-specific kernel is unbelievably more ideal on netbooks, and you usually don't need professional software on a netbook

I'd recommend something like xchat however if you are a rather heavy irc user.

easy one tbh, just visit preferences ^^ you can google the serveraddresses for the networks, like irc.quakenet.org for quakenet (not sure about this one)
