Front audio problem

My front audio jack is giving a high beep noice, when i plug it in the back there's no problem.
What could be causing the irritating sound at the front, and how to fix ?

I only get this with earphones (not speakers of headphones). Maybe try using HD instead of AC97.

Have it with speakers & headphones, & i think i have HD atm though :(

some pc's you haveto activate "front" stuff in drivers for them to work properly

there is sound though & mic also works + front usb too

problem is that the beep stays, even with music on (less recognisable, but still there)

could be a problem with electromagnetic radiance inside your case
