Video Contest

So tomorrow is the last day to upload the videos for Games Mini Video Contest.
What are you expecting? Who do you think that will reach the top3?

Well, im participating, eventhough i dont have any hope to reach the top3 level. Been kinda busy with some university stuff, eventhough i managed to work on the video at the last 2 days (going to render and upload tomorrow).

For moviemakers onlyDear participants,

on 27.02 12pm we will close the registrations. But before this we would like to give you last informations. We had to make some small changes during the contest. Its our first time, so please dont blame us too much. For all your feedbacks please use this email to contact us and we will reply asap.

Our message to you today:

Spread the word. This is our first contest and we want it to be a big success. This will increase the chance of further video contests and for that we need your help.

* Get people to watch & vote for your movie;
* Use the own3D embed code and embed your video on blogs and clanpages etc.
* Ask in forums to watch your video and use own3D short link, like “this is my contest video, watch it here”

Uploading your Video. Sadly we have some issues with the offline converter (like stretching 4:3 videos to 16:9). Please DO NOT USE the offline converter for this contest. Who already uploaded the video via offline converter – please reupload your video via website.

* It is better if you upload your video in 720p resolution, then we can render it into HD.
* Do NOT upload your video on other websites until 31.03.2009, but feel free to use the embed code and links of own3D.
* Set your video to “private” and remove the “downloadable” mark. Our admins will make your videos public.

Fakefrags/Cheater

* To avoid the cheater/aimbot discussions we ask you to upload demos you used in your video and put links to the video description.

Video name and description – Give your movie a name, do not call it “my video contest movie”. Do not put your registration ID on own3D in Video or Video Information, it is only for our internal communication with you.
