PB Problem (PnkbstrB Heartbeat)

Hi, a friend of mine got that shitty problem.. we tried:

1. reinstall ET
2. reinstall PB
3. checking for Firewalls/antiviruses

nothing helped.. what can we try more?

any suspected issue?

i saw this:

O23 - Service: PnkBstrA - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\PnkBstrA.exe
O23 - Service: PnkBstrB - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\PnkBstrB.exe

its fine? maybe its sould be running as an adminstrator?


btw, when trying to run ET as a adminstrator, its says "cant leave a blank password" but he never filled a password in, so what should we try to put over there? the account is the master account.. but maybe it may help
