well maybe they sim locked your phone, but as long you stick to the same provider it wont matter.
And you can still unlock the phone ofc (costs around 10 euro here in random turkish phone shop)
And some providers will try to fuck you when you have a contract that still lasts for a few months or longer. (because you signed for that period of time)
You have to call ur provider, buy a prepaid sim and sent them the simcard number and your phone numer will be put over to the new prepaid sim card.
