blurry screen , need help

The problem i have is that my screen is blurred, especially in the center. First I thougt "wtf my eyes?" but its not my eyes.
Now sometimes it switches from blurry to focused again.
I have tried fixin it in the menu from the buttons on the front of my monitor.
It is starting to hurt my eyes now:(
I have a CRT monitor.
anyone knows how this is possibel and has a solution?

try setting r_displayrefresh to a diffrent (probably a lower) value.
if it doesnt only happen ingame, adjust it in windows
dunno if its in ET , havent played a while
tft or tcrt
Any new electric appliances in your room, speakers by the side of the monitor e.g? Anything changed in general (settings/hardware) recently? If not it maybe just defect...
what is this Clear Type effect , and where can i find it?
