ISR passed to playoffs

CroatiaCRO and United States of AmericaUSA are out of the Nations Cup, that means that IsraelISR are ranked 3rd in the group (Group D) with GermanyGER placed 1st, RussiaRUS 2nd and SloveniaSLO 4th, there is only 1 match left in our group, the match between SloveniaSLO and RussiaRUS, no matter what the score will be in that match, IsraelISR already qualified cause if the score will be SloveniaSLO 4-0 RussiaRUS so SloveniaSLO will be placed 3rd and RussiaRUS 4th, which will make IsraelISR be placed 2nd after GermanyGER, or if the score will be RussiaRUS 4-0 SloveniaSLO so SloveniaSLO will be placed 4th, RussiaRUS 2nd and IsraelISR 3rd, same thing with 4-2 or 2-4, IsraelISR will always be placed 2nd or 3rd, confirmed with BelgiumBartichello! so, big thanks to CroatiaCRO for breaking CB's rules and letting us qualify to the playoffs!

croatia had 7 players out of 9 in same clan, so they used 4 players from same team all the time which is not allowed

but cortana as a clan hasnt been active in CB in ages if im right (atlest with crotia), I shouldve found a CB match for cortana but I didnt. Either CB has fucked up again or im missing something

Good point. Cortana was playing in ESL Winter Season but it's not a ClanBase competition.

In the last EC their line-up looked like:

Croatia calisto

well yeah, only those 3 played in main lineup, rimi played 1 match what would mean that only 3 of these 4 are allowed to play. Suvi wasnt even in a clan and i played with sth that season. But there is a rule which states that any player that is on CB roster is considered as Cortana player, no matter he played an official or not. That goes for me, acozz & suvi(was in a clan for 6hours...and because of that we got kicked. Jakazc mailed CB chiefs whining about it. Therefore, some more kicks will occur within few days,including NC favourites.

I told admin that i will whine about ur lineup after you played vs germany and obv noone told you that. When i sent mail to NC cheifs i told them that i dont want forfeit if bartichello quits admin job in NC, but ofcourse he wont admit that he made mistake so he was forced to remove you from NC .

that's not a problem since the rules say "Players are considered to still be members of any active clan they've been a member of (no matter how briefly) after 29th September 2008 until Monday of the 2nd Match Week of the cup."

so, 2nd week of cup has passed and they can play

wasn't there a rule that if 2 months or so before nc players remove themselves from a teams lu's then they aren't concidered as part of a team at nc and they can play for nc team or play for another team ...

never ever before has "beeing in a cb profile" consired as beeing a member in a clan so this must be one big fail from supervisors

they have broken a rule. but considering the circumstances i'd let them advance to playoffs stage.

and that rule needs to be changed so that it only covers the players that played officials in the previous cup. but i doubt that will happen since it would mean that cup admins would actually have to do their work of checking who is playing and write a report.

lol? this is first time ever that kind of rule existed(well it didnt actually, its admin fault), theres been several same kind of things before but IF YOU DIDNT PLAY U CANT BE PART OF AN ACTIVE CLAN.

Players are considered to still be members of any active clan they've been a member of (no matter how briefly) after 29th September 2008 until Monday of the 2nd Match Week of the cup.

So if the clan is active all its members are considered active. suVi was added to cortana on december 22nd and removed a few hours later, and then added again on february 25th. He has been a member of an active clan during the time period they specify in the rules for an amount of time (it says no matter how brief). He was the 4th player from cortana to play for the team cro, and thus the rule was broken.

Is it a stupid case? Yes. Should they be kicked from the cup? Yes, if you want to follow rules letter by letter and not look at the circumstances. No, if you use some reason while enforcing the rules.
