browser spyware

Today i turned on my laptop and found that when ever i type something into any search engine, it displays the results as normal but then when i on one of the results to go to that page, it redirects me to some crappy unknown search engine. Happens everytime, on every search engine for every result.

Has anyone else had this and been able to fix it? None of my spyware programs seem to find it so i dont know what else to do.

Used Spybot and Adaware, currently using firefox. Any ideas?

I had that ages ago.. think a firefox reinstall worked for me.. Can't really remember though

Try Spyware Doctor (http://www.pctools.com/en/spyware-doctor/)...
Helped me out a few times when Spybot failed hard...

Also check out HijackThis (http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/de/tools/security_tools/hijackthis). A really small but powerful tool.

Give Malware Bytes a go to remove the spyware!
