So mystify and I have been arguing over the correct usage of to see in this sentence:

mystify argues that it is saw but i think that it is see

so grammar nazis who is correct? :o

did is the past of DO , and saw the past of SEE . so you cant use a double past on a sentence.

Correct sentence is

"I was hiding behind the corner and phan^Hexagon came around and didn't see me."

I think that's grammatically correct if you mean the verb, as in "he didn't saw me in half". :P
