Aspect ratio

What do you guys prefer.
Wide screen-ed movie or a normal 'wide' screen movie (16:9 ratio)?

Don't look at quality or effects or something, just look at the scope..
(Oval or circle).

Tip: Open file with "Media Classic Player" > Right mouse button > Video Frame > Override aspect ratio > 16:9

record at 16:9 and export at 16:9

Widescreen recorded at 1920x1200
16:9 recorded at 1920x1200 - cropped out both sides of 60px.

My monitor or videocard doesn't support 1920x1080 resolutions. :(

Just use 1280x720 then. You won't notice a big difference, unless you watch them on a 100" screen.

What were you referring to? If you mean that you'd notice a reasonably huge difference between a 1920x1200 and 1280x720 vid you should consider yourself as an eagle :-D

- 4GB Memory (Around 50 EUR)
- 2x HD4870 (Around 500 EUR)
- Watercooling etc. (Around 100 EUR or even more)

- Dunno which motherboard fits for these kind of stuff.



You got money for such of these things? If so, you might even get Crysis on full high settings with this.
