Journals
ok, dunno, if im nerving u with maths journals, but i think some of u like them.
here a new task:
"imagine 2 boxes. In the 1st box there ar 4 apples and 6 oranges. The 2nd box contains 16 apples and an unknown number of the oranges. Now u take 1 fruit from every box, means, u took 2 fruits. The probability, that they both ar the same, means apple-apple or orange-orange, is 0,44.
Whats the number of oranges in the 2nd box?"

go figure out
dunno tho
but its wrong anyways
e: AND STOP US LETTING MAKE YOUR HOMEWORK
4/10 * 16/(16+x) = 6/10 * x/(16+x) <- is equal to 0.44
-> x = 64/6
which doesnt make any sense :D
probability to get two apples: 4/10 * 16/(16+x)
probability to get two oranges: 6/10 * x/(16+x)
both had to be equal -> x=64/6....
4/10 * x/(16+x) + 6/10 * 16/(16+x) = 0.56
==> x = 4
theres the mistake, thx
edit: too slow :(
