a friend of mine wanna buy a pc his budget is around 800€
Since we're both nubs at this i'd need some help - u can post a list with some hardware but if possible id prefer if you could find them at this website where we'll probably order from.

but just found a 20m cat 6 cable for 8 euros, not that expensive tbh :p
cat5 suxx tbh :D
and they don't cost much more then cat 5, so...
and btw overheat = made me rofl :D almost all houses haz cat5 /6 it doesent really matter... so gtfo with overheat :D
gigabit on cat6 = overheat :)
and yes ill give him an OS
i'd go for something like this:
*good mobo + quadcore, this is wher you want to invest money into, not just buy the best performance / euro.
*2gb ram +winxp or 4gb ram +winxp pro
*no point in wasting more money on the vid card, gx260 is top notch and those others are more expensive and give you +10% / + 30% performance for double the price or more.
500GB is really a minimum these days.
both are filled and i constantly need to delete stuff to keep my pc running :D
