I don't care about this that much anymore, I mean every german learns about the history about the evil cruel past of germany in school numerous times and to the ones that still shout at every german: nazi. just shut the fuck up, the ones you shout at didn't even live to that time and are not responsible for that, so leave the past alone, what happened can't be changed, with no words, never ever. it's still in every german's head that you can't be proud of the nation (in football wm2006 in germany everyone pulled out his german flag again (for first time?) and was proud of his nation, and i call that a good thing) although i am still proud to be a german, but not because of the history, just because it's my home country.

Wether i or one of my closer family (exept my grandpa, he was forced) was a nazi.
So this is not my past, it's the fast of ppl who have voted for the wrong kind of politician (Hello to you mr. Hindenburg and mr. Hitler) because they have been disapointed from the former politicans.

So this is the darkest part of yerman history, but always remember, lenin has killed more that 15milion ppl and Mao even more than 50milion, so are we always the ppl who have started the genezide?

not to think really every german at the time of ww2 was a sick, heartless and fucked up nazi enthustiac.

it really comes to a very little group of people, mainly the people with power. most of the german troops really fought the war because they had to fight it through, just like some allied troops. there happened really dark and sad things, but they always happen to a country that has been through a lot of difficulties. to be honest, if you seriously look someone to blame for the war, i recommend you to get more familiar with the ww1's versailles peace treaty.

and everyone always brings up the holocausts also. heres a pair of other major genocides of the 19th and 20th century:
1915-1917 the turks killed estimately 1,5-1,7 million armenians
1800-1900 the belgians killed ~10 million people in congo
~1920-~1950 20-30 million people died due to hunger, executions and compulsory work in camps and such

im not defending the nazis, but i think its wrong to blame an entire country for their leaders' etc mistakes
